DER & DMIR Capabilities on Staff

We provide the convenience of Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) services at our headquarters. DER and DMIR capabilities reduce manufacturing costs, increase overall capabilities, and optimize the speed and efficiency of ACC’s development process.

High Precision Tube Manufacturing

ACC has both manual and CNC tube benders capable of bending .275 – 2.00” O.D. material. Our CNC benders have accuracy and repeatability of +/- .005 inches and +/- .05 degrees. All tubes are inspected using a Faro ScanArm with accuracy of +/- .001 inches and scans 2,000 points per scanline for ultimate tube measurement.
Our weld shop employees are certified to the rigorous AWSD17.1 (Fusion Welding for Aerospace) Standard. We have the capability of welding; tube to tube, tube to sheet, and sheet to sheet in both stainless steel and aluminum alloys in many thicknesses.
ACC employs a highly skilled manufacturing staff, of which many hold Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. In addition, all are specialists in heating and air conditioning systems for aircraft.
Our electrical assembly technicians perform job duties which include aviation soldering, wiring, relay panel and harness assembly. All assemblies are tested according to engineering or customer requirements, ensuring a quality built product every time.
